This lecture focuses on the issue of identity as it forms the background for trust and privacy. The shifts developing in the notions of identity are examined within an integral framework of four domains. The subjective psycognitive domain and the objective behavioural domain for identity; the inter-subjective cultural domain for trust; the inter-objective socio-systemic domain for privacy. This is drawn together into a layered psycognitive architecture in which we can see the inter-relationships and inter-dependencies between the internal and external mediated world experiences.
